Comprehensive Commercial Insulation Solutions
Warehouses have unique insulation challenges across their roofs, walls, floors, and storage areas. Each part of the building requires the right insulation strategy to control temperatures, reduce energy costs, and protect valuable inventory year-round.
Insulating Warehouse Roofs
The roof experiences the greatest heat gain and heat loss in a warehouse. During Central Texas summers, roof temperatures can become extremely hot, forcing HVAC systems to work much harder.
We apply closed-cell spray foam directly beneath metal roof decking to create a seamless thermal and air barrier without the gaps or compression issues found in traditional insulation.
- Eliminates condensation on metal decking
- Adds structural strength to the roof assembly
- Provides R-6 to R-7 per inch with closed-cell foam
- Reduces radiant heat entering the warehouse
Wall Insulation for Large Facilities
Metal warehouse walls easily transfer heat while allowing outside air to enter the building. Proper insulation dramatically improves energy efficiency and indoor comfort.
Our spray foam seals framing, seams, penetrations, and wall panels in a single application, making it ideal for metal buildings and tilt-wall construction throughout Central Texas.
- Closed-cell foam for exterior walls and humid areas
- Open-cell foam for interior wall applications
- Seals air leaks around framing and penetrations
- Improves year-round climate control
Floor & Slab Insulation
Floor insulation is especially important for refrigerated storage, climate-controlled warehouses, and facilities handling temperature-sensitive products.
| Scenario | Recommended Solution |
|---|---|
| New Construction | Sub-slab rigid foam board |
| Cold Storage Conversion | Slab-edge closed-cell spray foam |
| General Warehouse Floors | Seal perimeter gaps and transitions |
Specialized Storage Area Insulation
Warehouses storing pharmaceuticals, electronics, food products, paint, or other sensitive materials require tighter environmental control than standard storage space.
We insulate ceilings, walls, floors, shared partitions, and every penetration to create a complete thermal envelope that maintains stable temperatures and controls humidity.
Key Advantages for Business Owners
Spray foam insulation in your warehouse reduces operating costs, improves employee comfort, and protects your building and inventory from moisture damage.
Energy Efficiency & Cost Savings
Warehouses have large roof spans, loading dock gaps, and metal walls that constantly lose conditioned air. Spray foam creates an airtight seal that helps HVAC systems maintain temperature with less effort.
- Reduced monthly energy bills from less HVAC runtime
- Fewer temperature spikes during Central Texas summers
- Lower strain on rooftop HVAC units
- Meets or exceeds commercial energy codes
Improved Indoor Comfort for Staff
Spray foam helps maintain more consistent temperatures from floor to ceiling, creating a better work environment throughout the year.
- More consistent indoor temperatures
- Improved employee comfort and productivity
- Reduced hot and cold spots
- Less interior condensation and humidity
Asset Protection & Moisture Control
Closed-cell spray foam acts as both insulation and a vapor barrier, protecting your building and valuable inventory.
Roof Deck
Prevents condensation beneath metal roofing.
Walls
Blocks humid outdoor air from entering wall assemblies.
Penetrations
Seals around pipes, conduit, and doors.
Consequences of Inadequate Warehouse Insulation
Skimping on insulation leads to higher utility bills, unstable temperatures, and costly damage to inventory and equipment.
Increased Heating & Cooling Expenses
Poor insulation forces HVAC systems to run longer, increasing energy costs across large commercial facilities.
- Thermal bridging through metal walls and roofs
- Air leaks around doors and loading bays
- Low R-value roofing increases heat gain and loss
- Higher monthly utility bills year after year
Operational Disruptions
Temperature swings reduce productivity, increase safety risks, and affect equipment performance.
Loading Docks
Constant door openings create large temperature swings throughout the warehouse.
Storage Zones
Uneven insulation creates hot and cold spots that affect stored products.
Warehouse Offices
Poor temperature control reduces employee comfort and productivity.
Damage to Sensitive Inventory
Temperature and moisture fluctuations can spoil products and damage valuable assets.
- Mold growth on surfaces and stored goods
- Rust and corrosion on shelving and equipment
- Packaging degradation and product loss
Why Infinity Spray Foam Stands Out
Infinity Spray Foam brings verified credentials, proven application methods, and dependable scheduling to every warehouse project in Central Texas.
Maximize Efficiency
Industry Expertise and Certifications
We have been BBB Accredited since January 2020, which reflects a consistent record of professional conduct and customer accountability. That kind of track record matters when you’re making a long-term investment in a large commercial facility.
Our team works specifically with commercial and industrial buildings, including warehouses, distribution centers, and large-scale storage facilities. This focus means we understand the structural and thermal demands that come with high-volume, high-ceiling environments.
We stay current with industry standards for spray foam application, material safety, and building performance. Our technicians are trained on both open-cell and closed-cell spray foam systems, so we can recommend the right product based on your building’s specific needs rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach.
Boost Indoor Comfort
Advanced Spray Foam Techniques
We use high-performance spray foam materials applied with precision equipment that delivers consistent coverage across large surface areas. This is especially important in warehouses, where uneven insulation can create thermal gaps that undercut your energy savings.
Our application process accounts for:
- Substrate conditions — temperature, moisture, and surface type before application
- Coverage depth — calibrated to meet thermal resistance targets for your climate zone
- Sealing around penetrations — HVAC ducts, conduit runs, and structural gaps are addressed directly
Closed-cell spray foam, in particular, also adds structural rigidity to roof decks and wall assemblies. That’s a functional benefit beyond temperature control that holds real value in commercial construction.
Strengthen and Protect
Commitment to Project Timelines
Warehouse operations don’t stop for construction, and we plan around that reality. We work with owners and facility managers to schedule installation during low-activity windows, including nights and weekends when needed.
We provide a clear project scope before work begins, including:
- Estimated start and completion dates
- Phased scheduling for occupied or partially active facilities
- Communication checkpoints so you’re never left guessing on progress
Delays cost money in commercial settings. We treat your schedule with the same seriousness as the installation itself.

Julio (Infinity) went above & beyond my expectations with blown-in insulation. Believe it or not, during his onsite estimate, he identified several other AC/heat concerns, including leaks and unraveling tape, both related to the crappy 2020 installation of a new $8300 AC (which never cooled below 79 & ran constantly). I've paid $$$ to have the AC problems identified, but it was Julio who found them in the course of his assessment of my attic & its insulation needs. He also repaired them for very little extra money. Honestly? I sorta felt he treated me like family. Won't know til hot weather hits whether the insulation will help cool this old house, but I can say this: Julio/Infinity did an outstanding job. They were responsive, on time, pre-prepped to keep my environment very clean (I have bad allergies; they covered & draped to keep particulate to a minimum), cleaned carefully after the insulation, and did it all at a very fair price. GREAT experience.Posted on Google![]()

Not often I run across folks of this caliber. It started with a site visit from Julio. Very thorough discussion. Provided timely product details. On the day of the job, Daniel and his crew came to the site. Daniel supervised them well. The workmanship was great. Daniel is extremely knowledgeable about temperature requirements of the foam product, and ran a test pattern until the result was just right. The finished product is great. They did a walk-through upon completion, and immediately addressed a couple of minor issues. Jobsite preparation was great, too, as well as the cleanup. As a Professional Engineer, and General Contractor for over 45 years, it was a pleasure dealing with this company. I will definitely use them again. Give them a call, you’ll be pleasedPosted on Google![]()

Got Questions? We’ve Got Answers!
Warehouse insulation involves real costs, installation timelines, performance expectations, and long-term upkeep that commercial owners need to understand before committing. The answers below address the specific details that matter most for facilities in Central Texas.
Spray foam insulation for a warehouse typically ranges from $1.50 to $4.00 per square foot, depending on the type of foam used and the thickness required. Open-cell foam sits at the lower end of that range, while closed-cell foam costs more due to its higher R-value per inch and moisture resistance.
For a large warehouse, total project costs can vary significantly based on ceiling height, accessibility, and the condition of existing surfaces. We provide detailed quotes based on your specific facility layout and insulation goals.
The roof deck and ceiling are the highest priority. In Central Texas, heat gain through an uninsulated metal roof can dramatically raise interior temperatures and force HVAC systems to work much harder.
Beyond the roof, we also insulate:
- Walls and metal panels to reduce radiant heat transfer
- Loading dock doors and surrounding framing to minimize air infiltration
- Crawlspaces or slab edges if climate-controlled storage is involved
- Mechanical rooms to protect equipment from temperature swings
Addressing all of these areas together produces the most consistent results.
A standard warehouse insulation project takes two to five days depending on square footage, the number of areas being treated, and surface preparation needs. Larger facilities or those requiring multiple foam types may take longer.
Spray foam application does require the work area to be cleared of personnel during spraying due to off-gassing. We schedule work in sections or during off-hours when possible to reduce interference with your day-to-day operations.
Closed-cell spray foam delivers approximately R-6 to R-7 per inch, while open-cell foam provides around R-3.5 to R-4 per inch. For a Central Texas warehouse, we typically recommend a minimum of R-19 for walls and R-30 or higher for roof decks.
Higher R-values reduce the amount of heat transferring into your building, which directly lowers the cooling load on your HVAC system. Facilities that upgrade from little or no insulation often see measurable reductions in monthly utility costs within the first cooling season.
Spray foam removal is usually caused by improper installation—specifically, applying foam to surfaces that were dirty, damp, or too cold, which causes adhesion failure. Poor mixing ratios during application can also lead to foam that remains tacky or degrades over time.
We avoid these issues by inspecting and preparing all surfaces before spraying and by using calibrated equipment to maintain correct material ratios throughout the job. Choosing an experienced contractor from the start is the most direct way to avoid costly removal later.
Spray foam insulation does not require routine maintenance once it is properly installed and cured. However, we recommend a visual inspection every two to three years to check for any mechanical damage, pest intrusion, or gaps that may have developed around penetrations or seams.
If your warehouse undergoes renovations or new equipment is installed that involves cutting through insulated surfaces, those areas should be resealed promptly. UV-exposed open-cell foam should also be covered with an appropriate coating or barrier to prevent degradation over time.
